Primary Responsibilities:

• Unloads, moves, and stores a variety of materials, parts, or products using standardized procedures.
• Unloads incoming materials: checks identification, reports shortages or damage, moves, stores, stacks, and arranges.
• Moves materials between departments and lines: follow routing or tickets to fill orders from storage, stock, or other departments. Loads materials for shipping: place materials on pallets, trays, racks, etc., and install strapping, bracing, or padding.
• Operate a power lift truck, hand truck, dolly, or other device. Will be responsible for records of materials.
• Must have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work with your hands
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills
• Basic reading, writing, arithmetic (shop math), and comprehensive skills
• Proven capabilities using hand tools
• Production knowledge, mathematical skills, problem-solving skills, observational skills, communication skills, analytical skills
• Basic mechanical skills
• Use of computer system software
• Teamwork orientation

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

• Safety Glasses
• Hearing Protection
• Protective Clothing
• Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD) Steel Toe Shoes

Required Education/Experience:

• 0-1 years of shipping and receiving experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Forklift experience

• Work is scheduled Monday through Friday. Shifts are 8 hours with multiple shifts. Employees MUST be flexible and may be required to change shifts.
