We are looking for a Marketing Manager to help tell our brand story across all touchpoints, with a key focus on social media, email, and the website. You are a strategic go-getter, who can take big ideas through to creative execution efficiently and effectively. From being the "voice" of Saatchi Art on social media and writing the perfect email subject line to crafting brand partnerships and concepting video campaigns, be ready to "think big" while managing the details in order to extend the reach of our online gallery for collectors and artists alike.

You'll Report to: Marketing Director

A typical day as Marketing Manager might include:

  • Marketing Campaigns (20%)
      • Working closely with the Marketing Director, Curators, Design, PR, and the Other Art Fair Teams to concept and create omnichannel marketing and promotional campaigns.Working with the Marketing Director to develop content strategy through a strong and rich editorial calendar for social, email, SMS, and the website.
  • Email Marketing (25%)
      • Managing email content strategy and segmentation, including ongoing newsletter efforts, triggered campaigns, and new content for audience profiles/franchises.
  • Social Media (25%)
      • Managing social media channels, including coordinating content strategy and calendars, drafting and publishing posts, conducting social listening, providing ongoing reports on performance, and devising influencer marketing initiatives.
      • Acting as the "always-on" voice of social, including managing customer inquiries submitted via social to provide an exceptional brand experience.
  • Partnerships, PR, and Influencers (10%)
      • Creating and managing lead-generation efforts including sweepstakes, content marketing initiatives, and brand partnerships.
      • Working with the PR team to extend the impact and reach of earned media efforts
  • Analytics and Insights (10%)
      • Working with the Marketing Director, Performance Marketing, and Business Insights teams to develop and segment target audiences to make our marketing programs highly relevant and effective in driving action for our audiences.
      • Leveraging insights to help develop loyalty, re-engagement, and referral campaigns.
      • Reporting on marketing campaign performance, working with Marketing Director and colleagues in Performance Marketing and Business Insights as needed.
  • Leadership (10%)
    • Playing an active and managerial role in weekly brainstorms to help develop marketing tactics that will push the brand forward and reach new prospects.
    • Staying up-to-date on all marketing best practices, especially when it comes to social media
    • Managing marketing intern
You'll be successful if you are inquisitive, inspired, and strategic. You are personable, interested in art, and want to contribute to Saatchi Art's growth and success. You want to roll up your sleeves and take advantage of the opportunity to work at a fast-paced ecommerce company.

What You Have:
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strategic thinker with experience managing brand stories and building and executing integrated campaigns, with an emphasis on digital channels.
  • Stellar copywriting skills. You're comfortable tackling social media posts, drafting and line-editing articles, crafting email copy--and everything in between.
  • Analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights; must have a solid understanding of email and social analytics and reporting
  • A growth hacker mindset-you'll constantly be thinking about increasing results, aim to understand the impact of a change if it is successful, and will get excited when a test yields growth!
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and accountable for work every step of the way
  • A genuine appreciation for art and design. You are tuned into contemporary home decor, design, art, and pop culture.
  • A stickler for the details- you have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and self-manage against tight timelines
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and on your own.
  • Previous experience working in marketing at an e-commerce business, start up, or advertising agency a plus
  • A pleasant and supportive demeanor
  • Not afraid to wear multiple hats-no job being too small or too large.
