Basic Function
The Marketing Manager for the polymers business is responsible for optimizing current and long-term profitability of their respective market segments as well as structuring and driving market and product optimization initiatives in close collaboration with operations planning, sales, planning & ADTS. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; market and pricing strategies (within the Marketing Excellence framework), customer contract negotiations, product line optimization and development project stewardship. The purpose of the job is to develop and implement market, product and pricing strategies which create market value, increase differentiation and capture the maximum potential from the polymer market segments.
