Program Description:

The RX Internship Program offers undergraduate students practical work experience in our dynamic, entrepreneurial atmosphere that enhances their academic background and sharpens their professional skills.

RX values its interns as an investment in the future. The program provides students an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience by applying classroom techniques to real-world situations. There is also an opportunity at the end of the internship program to apply and be selected for an entry level rotational training program upon graduation the following year that will put you on a career path for Sales, Marketing, or Event Leadership!

As a Marketing Intern, you will gain specific knowledge in the following areas:

Throughout this 3-month rotational internship program, you will be focused on building a foundation for the Digital Content Associate role. Each month, you will be focused on a key marketing pillar, rotating between the Marketing, Content, and Digital teams.
  • Marketing: Gain exposure to all marketing campaign channels including email marketing, social media, PPC campaigns, and more. Discover how cross-channel marketing campaigns are applied to the customer journey for both attendee & exhibitor audiences. Training will take place to learn our email marketing platform, Adobe design programs, and social media management platform-and will be applied to marketing assignments you will be expected to complete in each area.
  • Content: Dive deeper into the customer journey by learning how our brands position themselves as year-round resources for our customers. Understand how 365 content complements our face-to-face tradeshows, and how the marketing plan is executed to drive value throughout all 12 months of the year. You will be supporting the content management team, using your marketing training & experience to complete content-focused projects.
  • Digital: Learn about the digital opportunities & products which drive our customers potential forward. From online opportunities, to at-show products, to year-round engagements-the possibilities are endless when it comes to supporting our customers in driving value, exposure & awareness for their businesses. You will understand how these experiences align with our marketing & content strategies, and help catapult growth & connection forward for our customers.
At the end of the Internship Program, there will be 2 full-time entry level positions available to apply and be selected for. The available position is as follows:

Digital Content Associate

This is an entry-level digital content position with the opportunity to develop a wide-range of skills in a growing, fast-paced department. This role will report into the content management team, and support the strategy & production of multi-channel content to target audiences. Social media management, digital content support, and at-show conference planning/management will all be core responsibilities of this role, collaborating with multiple departments to facilitate all content needs.
