Position Summary:

The successful candidate will excel at stakeholder satisfaction. The successful person will be able to lead his/her team in delivering all material that is needed to the stakeholders ahead of their needs. He/She will ensure that all materials are prepped in a safe, quality and urgency mindset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The lead will review documents to ensure all GMPs were followed
  • The lead will communicate in advance with all stakeholders to ensure that all needed materials are prepared in advance
  • The lead will run the morning passdown meeting with the team
  • The lead will ensure that all needed inventory is available ahead of time and that low inventories are replenished on time
  • The lead will ensure absences are relayed to the Supervisor
  • The lead will ensure all safety concerns, incidents, and complaints are logged and escalated immediately
  • The candidate must be flexible with schedule and able to work from 3 am to 3 pm
  • The candidate must be able to consistently lift 40 lbs

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to navigate a PC folder and locate a file
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficient with web searches
  • Ability to measure volumes and weights accurately
  • Must be able to type accurately with moderate speed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Lab experience

Functional Description

Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.

  • Applies high level of knowledge to complete a wide range of tasks that normally requires time management skills.

  • Work at this level requires following established practices.
  • May independently plan own work, referring only unusual cases to supervisor.

  • Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.

Judgement

  • Assignments are complex in nature where judgment and initiative is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
  • Thoroughness and reliability are essential as errors would result in a possibility for loss and normally affect other groups.
