What we do:
As part of an advanced data and analytics organization, our Implementation Management team works with insurance customers who are developing system-to-system platforms to order our data products. We take a proactive approach in guiding our customers through their development lifecycle. We provide project and product knowledge and share best practices for the use of data to enhance consumer experiences. This consultative approach enhances relationships that pave the way for future growth.
We have a broad scope of responsibilities from establishing connectivity and configuring product systems, conducting pre-implementation workshops, and discussing how products results are returned in XML or JSON.
As technology and the industry change, we continue to evolve, too. New products and technologies are a constant for all organizations, and we look for ways to embrace those changes as an opportunity to get better - learning new skills, sunsetting legacy interfaces while launching new ones, and modernizing our API.
Our team works closely together, providing support and assistance when needed, sharing what we learn, and collectively looking out for each other. It's part of our culture and we rely on that dynamic to be successful. To LexisNexis Risk, culture is very simple - it is the behaviors and interactions we experience and observe around us every day. As managers, our role is primarily to set that culture. It explains why our team thrives.
What we are looking for:
We're looking for a manager to lead an Implementation Management team. In this role, you will help the team provide an outstanding experience for our customers, remove roadblocks, build relationships with other teams, lead improvement initiatives, and of course develop your team so they continue to grow.
In today's workplace, managers need a whole raft of different skills. Every day you'll hold a range of conversations that matter. We expect managers to hire the right people, to be coaches, team-builders, enablers, planners, innovators, compliance role models and risk managers. We expect them to deal with under-performance, provide counsel, support their people through difficult times, care about their welfare, challenge them to reach new heights and to be great listeners. Aside from the technical skills and knowledge a manager must have, they must also be great with people. That's a lot to ask! Inclusion is equally as important - providing the opportunity for team members to feel heard, to contribute equally, to access opportunity equally - regardless of what characteristics they may have. It is inclusion that will make the biggest difference to a positive culture and that will drive performance.
What you can expect
This is a challenging role with a lot to learn so you must be comfortable not knowing all the answers right away. It's just as important knowing where to find the answer.
To attract, retain and develop the best people, we must not only do things better, we must also do them differently; making sure that at every step we put our best foot forward in the areas people care most about. The whole experience of being an employee must be a positive one from first contact. In addition to the corporate on-boarding programs, we have training resources on our team to help new members get up to speed quickly. You'll have an assigned mentor - an on-going partner to discuss issues and bounce questions off. Someone to help you get the lay of the land and point you in the right direction.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions understands that candidates have a choice which is why we put so much effort into being a great place to work and grow. And it's paying off! In 2021, LexisNexis Risk won seven of Comparably's annual awards that highlight the best companies for employees!
