Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. The Manager of Supply Chain Programs will lead a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting and operating to objectives and providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives and company policy. This role will require minimal to no travel, with a home office located at our Palmdale Center of Excellence.
The Manager will help drive GSC integration across multiple tiers of the Strike Supply Chain. They will focus on supply chain execution and drive process improvements to ensure alignment with program priorities.
This leader will have the ability to collaborate closely with executive leadership and all partners. They will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal & external stakeholders. The Manager of GSC Programs 2 will have proven abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching.

Program Managers are responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle from proposal development through execution and contract closeout. Primary responsibilities require oversight of all functions across GSC for a particular work scope, including but not limited to: Requirements and Planning, Supplier Management, Business Management, Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Logistics.
Responsibilities include: Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of the various supply chain functions for the defined Statement of Work
Acts as the main focal point for the Program effort for the supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Ties together the assigned program(s) and GSC function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, customers, suppliers, etc.
Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in through stages of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies
Briefs the executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance against plan
