Mobile Communications America is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for the Detroit, Metropolitan area. The sales manager will provide leadership for the regional outside sales team and drive results, sales culture, accountability, and sales development, through training, coaching, and actively assisting each salesperson build their business. This position will also have a few individual accounts and manage key customer relationships. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Directly manage a team of 8-10 outside sales representatives.
  • Facilitate the success of the team by setting a direction, establishing goals, and conducting meetings to ensure the success and alignment of the team.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and” ride- longs” with all sales representatives.
  • Train and motivate individual sales representatives in a manner which will allow them to achieve their highest potential.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Engage with the regional Vice Presidents by offering timely communication, accurate forecasting which includes early, mid-month and final reporting, and overall strategic direction of the team.
  • Responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly sales plan.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
  • 8+ years of successful sales experience, with 3 years of sales management experience (preferably in either the telecommunications or technology services industry).
  • Experience in sales or sales management in the Land Mobile Radio market is preferred.
  • High integrity and service minded focus to team members and customers
  • High energy – strong work ethic and action oriented
  • Embraces a structured sales approach
  • Experience in developing, coaching and motivating sales professionals
  • Ability to embrace and lead change and provide innovative solutions
  • Previous experience with HubSpot preferred
  • Marketing experience, and product/industry knowledge is a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

50 – 75% travel. Some overnight travel is expected.
