Your Role

  • Managing the activities of the Quality Control team, you build a culture of quality awareness, teamwork, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assure compliance with quality systems processes and ISO regulations within the quality control team.
  • Improve the customer experience regarding initial quality and long term reliability by working issues to root cause and implementing robust corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Possess strong cross functional skills to ensure there is collaboration in order to deliver high quality products on time.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team.
  • Supervise and trend quality data; ensure reviews of quality metrics and implement corrective actions against adverse trends and non-conformances.
  • Provides career development and training to direct reports.
  • Prepares yearly training schedules for the group and performs periodic employee reviews.
  • Develops and provides strategic plans to help quality control meet department and business goals.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioscience, etc). Other degree fields will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control experience, preferably in the life science industry.
  • 3 years of proven experience leading people.
  • Must have 13485 experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading projects and initiatives
  • Ability to analyze data, summarize results, troubleshooting issues, and identify solutions
  • High level of communication and presentation skills, with strong word and spreadsheet software skills
  • Ability to interface with external customers, present data, and address customer feedback.
