Summary:

The incumbent will serve as PerformRx's and PerformSpecialty's initial point-of-contact in the identification, addressing and resolution of legal issues. The Contract Manager will maintain a close liaison with ACFC Corporate Counsel in carrying out their job responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with corporate sourcing, legal and business leaders in the organization to draft and participate in the negotiation of a wide variety of agreements on behalf of PerformRx and PerformSpecialty, including but not limited to PBM agreements, vendor agreements and network pharmacy agreements.
  • Coordinate data and document collection to support PerformRx and PerformSpecialty licensure requirements and in response to ad hoc regulatory inquiries.
  • Review member, provider and other external communications to identify potential legal issues.
  • Identify and participate in the resolution of legal issues arising from PerformRx's contractual relationships (including PBM client relationships) and from PerformRx's and PerformSpecialty's day-to-day operations. Serve as primary liaison between PRX, clients and vendors for all contract/agreement related matters.
  • Assist in developing processes and procedures to ensure successful implementation and development of contractual requirements.
  • Actively lead contract related implementation workgroups to include new clients, benefit changes, contractual language amendments, policy updates and process improvement activities to further confirm successful contract execution and maintain positive relationships for PerformRx.
  • Effectively work with local, regional and corporate entities to ensure contractual requirements are reflected in business practices and remain current based upon most recent information.
  • Investigate and respond to inquiries and concerns presented by clients and vendors; analyze, proactively identify and recommend mitigation strategies for operational issues to ensure contractual requirements are addressed, as well as summarize and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
  • Foster open communication between PerformRx and all clients and vendors.
  • Represent PerformRx in meetings with internal departments and external clients and vendors and remain well versed in operational and state and federal-related activities.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
  • Paralegal Certification is preferred
  • Healthcare experience is preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in operational and regulatory policy updates, and people management required
  • Working knowledge of state contractual requirements and deliverables
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and communication (listening, verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
  • Ability to work both independently and with teams with minimal supervision
