Position: Manager II, Advanced Analytics

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066

Duties: Responsible for interpretation, analytics reporting, and analysis for key insights and performance recommendations with Walmart advertisers. Deliver clarity to advertisers who are seeking causal insights and measurement impact. Drive strategic initiatives including identifying issues, creating hypotheses, executing the analysis, and translating data into meaningful insights and actions. Ensure delivery of insights and analyses with end-to-end ownership, clear communication, and operational processes that drive visibility and accountability with stakeholders. Create client-facing analysis, including calls and in-person presentations, to drive data-driven best practices, recommendations, and guidance for Walmart Connect's top advertisers. Drive development of executive level presentations and perspectives. Develop and present concrete hypothesis-driven impactful deliverables clearly answering the why and so-what for Walmart Connect advertisers. Perform hands-on analysis and conduct in-depth investigations, execute end-to-end measurement projects, and make actionable recommendations to the business. Develop a team of analysts that delivers timely and high-quality analysis with informed insights and actionable recommendations. Assist process improvement initiatives to scale data and measurement solutions. Identify gaps and opportunities for improving existing data sources and engage with broader Walmart teams to acquire and summarize these sources within the Walmart Connect environment. Contribute to building measurement/analytics tools and platforms to reflect the best and most appropriate solutions available. Support the Sales/Marketing teams in managing day-to-day operating activities and special projects. Facilitate the evangelization of the team's charters, plans, and processes across the Sales and Marketing organization. This position does not supervise other employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Experience with project management and high volume of reporting/analyses requests. Experience with data manipulation using BigQuery, SQL, and R and visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, and Datorama. Experience mining, analyzing, and interpreting data through various statistical techniques and predictive models. Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience developing and presenting strategic, action-oriented oral and written communication including providing recommendations from complex analytics efficiently and engagingly to an executive audience. Experience with omnichannel marketing, attribution, and ROI measurement, including performance and awareness of online advertising. Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment, delivering functional features in small time durations. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $116,646/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
