Summary:
This position oversees the daily management of the Care Management Department. The position is responsible for providing expertise and leadership to the Care Management team to insure the effective utilization of resources for patient care delivery and administrative staff. This position will also enhance the continuity of care and cost effectively by integrating the functions of case management, utilization management and discharge planning
Requirements:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience as a RN and minimum of three (3) years of case management experience, hospital based preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Computer skills required with proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of medical necessity guidelines, managed care operations, and authorization process. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines
• RN License in state of employment or compact. Certification as CCM or CCRN preferred.
