Position Summary

Responsibilities include effectively and safely perform various maintenance projects in accordance with company programs, policies, and guidelines as well as government agencies. Must possess proficiencies in both welding and maintenance skills. Self-motivated and able to work well in both crew and individual environments as needed with strong ownership of safety and quality. This position is 2nd shift from 4pm-2am Monday-Friday.

Requirements

• Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing and electrical systems following specifications, blue prints and manuals
• Performs daily inspection of machinery and equipment at the plant
• Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunctions
• Communicates timely and effectively with leadership to keep them informed about major problems
• Services pumps/motors as needed
• Repairs/replaces wear items as required
• Perform welding, repair and fabrication
• Must be willing to work second shift and weekends as needed
• Minimum 1 year experience in a role with similar responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must have knowledge of plant maintenance
• Must have knowledge of crushing, screening, pumps, material handling equipment and all related major systems in order to trouble shoot or anticipate system problems
• Proficiencies in both welding and maintenance skills and heavy equipment operation
• Ability to perform well in a \u201CTEAM\u201D environment with small teams
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
