To install, program, maintain and troubleshoot electronic control within the facility, and provide programmable logic control training to other plant electrical technicians. Duties and Responsibilities: - Install, program, maintain, document and troubleshoot programmable logic controls and components. - Plan and coordinate installation of new electronic controls with the electrical and maintenance supervisor. - Assist electrical supervisor in making assignments to maintenance crew. - Assist in training other maintenance staff in area of electronic controls. - Report daily to electrical supervisor on the status of projects and repairs. - Assist in regulatory tests of plant instrumentation and document results as required. - Assist as needed on all types of maintenance calls throughout the plant. - Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion. - Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position. - Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements. - Follow all safety regulations. - Perform related duties as required.

- High school diploma or GED Required, with the ability to use shop mathematics with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and various types of adjustable measuring instruments and specialized training in programming programmable logic controllers required. - One year of specialized training in PLC's or equivalent required. - Position requires a minimum of three years experience with electronic controls including PLC units.
