Overview

Provides support to the operations of a nearly 1 million square feet distribution center through the function of the Maintenance department by performing standard preventative maintenance procedures and techniques applied to diagnose, maintain and repair electrical, mechanical and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Maintain and repair distribution facilities and material handling and other facilities equipment.
• Facility upkeep (painting, carpentry, drywall, repairs, plumbing, electrical work and troubleshooting not to exceed 600v).
• Mechanical, electrical and maintenance repairs, including welding, and metal fabrication.
• Maintenance and repair of automated conveyor, MHE, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, intrusion systems.
• Diagnose, isolate and repair - system faults, including knowledge of PLC functionality.
• Preventative maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance field or equivalent trade school certifications or years of experience.
  
• Two or more years of maintenance experience in an automated distribution environment or industrial electronics background.
  
• Experience working with MHE, Security Systems, Fire Panels, and Sprinkler Systems.
  
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office with the ability to navigate through software, internet, etc.
  
• Forklift Certification required.
  
• Good written and verbal communications skills required.
