Our client is an industry leader in the manufacturing and assembly of premium roofing shingles. They are seeking qualified Maintenance Supervisor to maximize plant performance, efficiency, and oversee the maintenance team.

What you will be doing:

• Plan, coordinate and prioritize maintenance needs, including coordinating all activities with Plant Operations Departments
• Supervise employees and assists the Maintenance Manager in managing the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the roofing industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive and evolving towards a TPM culture within maintenance and operations
• Identifying and correcting all unsafe conditions and completing safety assessments of all work and ensuring that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated
• Maintains a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment
• Monitor inventory, maintenance supplies, and equipment. Maintains and repairs all shop equipment
• Conduct all performance reviews, provide feedback, and corrective action if required.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solve maintenance issues.

What you will need:

• Associates degree in a related technical field (BS Degree in Engineering is preferred)
• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience - Preferably in a roofing or similar manufacturing setting - Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment.
• Previous experience of CMMS system - Maximo is a plus
• Proven leadership skills - experience managing a team of individuals
• Analytical, data-driven problem solving and action planning skills (financial acumen is a plus)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make decisions, must be self-motivated, results and action-oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and drive results through others.
