Job Description:

Expectations

Provide direction and align systems to ensure plant reliability losses are mitigated to a minimum level through leadership of maintenance management, facilities management, and reliability/controls engineering.

As a key member of plant operations staff this role will develop maintenance team's objectives and targets to facilitate strong environmental, safety, and plant/production reliability performance that align with site wide operational goals.

  • Accountable to plan immediate corrective action to downtime, gather datas, information and analyse the cause. Plan preventive action in order to improve equipment reliability and machine uptime while running at nominal capacity.
  • Accountable for the development and coordination of the plant preventive maintenance plan as well as to set / plan maintenance and machine shut down to achieve maximum reliability of manufacturing equipments.
  • Ensure maintenance develops into a proactive organization via the success and sustainment of Total Production Maintenance (TPM) system. Identify and then drive results for key performance indicators to achieve target maintenance performance.
  • Proposes medium to long range improvement plan for the facilities to support MTP and LRP along with the measurable and KPI evolution.
  • Works with site leader and Process Technology Center (PTC) to define priority of maintenance project execution according to the business needs.
  • Prepare and manage operating budget within established guidelines for all responsible areas.
  • Champion site power and other utilities reliability as well as monitoring energy consumption and energy conservation and improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure proper installation, operation, consistency of applications, and long term viability of manufacturing equipment.
  • Support projects and technical activities that includes equipment design, automation, modification, purchase, installation, parts inventory control and commissioning to make sure maintenance considerations are integrated.
  • Responsible for maintaining the facilities buildings and grounds in a cost effective manner that creates a positive image to customers and community.
  • Drive the implementation, use and optimization of CMMS.
  • Foster an environment of root cause problem solving as well as corrective action to prevent future reoccurrence.
  • Assures the use of processes, maintenance standard and best practice including the Most Effective Technology (MET).
  • Be proactive and integral leader for continuous improvement opportunities to improve plant ES&H risk and overall manufacturing cost.
  • Encourages innovation, over achievement, teamwork, excellence in the work.
  • Participate in employee performance management including goal setting, performance expectations, performance reviews, regular feedback, development planning, and improvement plan.
  • Provide regular communication to all team members and meaningful feedback to any employee concerns.
  • Provide on and off-hour emergency response including; equipment repair, damage control, and assignment of support personnel as needed.
  • Provides necessary training to new and existing employees.
  • Keeps up on technological changes such as retrofitting machinery to meet today's new laws and efficiency standards.

Education, Experience, AND SKILLS

Education:

BS degree in Engineering, Mechanical and/or Electrical prefered

Professional experience:

Minimum 5 years managing maintenance department

Direct experience with continuous process 24/7 is an advantage.

Strong commitment to PDCA methodology

Experience in TPM or similar top maintenance management system

Communications:

Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Languages:

Local Language, English

Skills: `

Process instruction and report writing ability

Solid engineering principles as they apply to the process

Problem solving and decision making skills,

Project Management skills,

Analytical and synthetic ability of complex situation allowing rational decision-making based on the objectivity of facts.
