The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance & reliability of plant assets. The person in this role leads continuous improvement efforts by promoting best practice maintenance and reliability initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads equipment maintenance and reliability efforts (TPM). Develops and manages equipment maintenance plans. Identifies critical spares and recommended spare parts inventory levels. Leads maintenance data management & analysis activities
  • Develops and maintains maintenance SOP's. Develops Maintenance & Operations training for new equipment.
  • Actively participates in and supports the plant continuous improvement process. Performs RCA and implements problem solving methodologies.
  • Leads & supports maintenance & facility future state planning. Manages & supports capital projects. Manages & supports engineering & facility drawing database.

Qualifications

Education
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Maintenance preferred)
Experience
  • 5+ years engineering & maintenance experience
  • Experience in or exposure to Maintenance Excellence initiatives
