The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance & reliability of plant assets. The person in this role leads continuous improvement efforts by promoting best practice maintenance and reliability initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads equipment maintenance and reliability efforts (TPM). Develops and manages equipment maintenance plans. Identifies critical spares and recommended spare parts inventory levels. Leads maintenance data management & analysis activities
- Develops and maintains maintenance SOP's. Develops Maintenance & Operations training for new equipment.
- Actively participates in and supports the plant continuous improvement process. Performs RCA and implements problem solving methodologies.
- Leads & supports maintenance & facility future state planning. Manages & supports capital projects. Manages & supports engineering & facility drawing database.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Maintenance preferred)
- 5+ years engineering & maintenance experience
- Experience in or exposure to Maintenance Excellence initiatives
