Job Title: Mail Room Clerk

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment using postage meters or shipping systems.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking numbers.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of mailroom supplies.
• Provide customer service to employees and external vendors regarding mail-related inquiries.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the mailroom area.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding mail handling and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a mail room or similar environment preferred.
• Familiarity with mailroom equipment and shipping software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
