Position Overview:

As a Machine Operator specializing in the operation of a variety of machines, including an automatic saw, CNC Plasma table, CNC tube plasma, Waterjet, and a Beam Line, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines to ensure the accurate and timely production of components and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines according to job specifications, including loading materials, selecting appropriate tools, writing programs, and adjusting settings.
  • Operate plasma table, saws, CNC tube plasma, Waterjet, and beam line machinery efficiently and safely to produce high-quality components.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure they meet production standards and adjust as necessary.
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, adjusting machine settings as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including removing waste materials and performing routine cleaning tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
  • Move material around facility via cranes and forklifts.
  • Manage raw material inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in machine operations preferred.
  • Experience operating CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
