Selected intern will have the opportunity to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment as they complete an assignment focused on growing and developing one of HBI's leading apparel brands.

This internship provides students an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in their area(s) of interest and contribute to key projects within HBI.

This internship position will be based at our Manhattan, KS office.

The Pathways Summer Internship program dates: June 3, 2024 - August 2, 2024.

Work Schedule (CDT): 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Will vary based on specific assignment. Include, but not be limited to:
• Project Support:
  • Complete assigned project(s)
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project milestones and goals.
• Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct research, Analyze data and present findings to contribute valuable insights.
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various departments to gain a holistic understanding of our company's operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on ongoing projects.
• Learning and Development:
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills relevant to the internship.
  • Seek feedback and proactively identify opportunities for professional growth.

Note: This internship position will be based at our Manhattan, KS office.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Must be a rising junior or rising senior, as of Summer 2024, currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program majoring in Apparel Design, Apparel Development or Apparel Merchandising.
• Must be a rising junior or rising senior (during Summer 2024) attending the University of Georgia, University of South Carolina, University of Southern California, University of Cincinnati or University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, PPT, Excel, etc.)
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 30 lbs
• Knowledge of garment construction and measuring
• Knowledge of flat illustration
• Able to handle individual projects assigned with diligence and thoroughness
• Highly motivated self-starter, able to lead initiatives as well as contribute as a team member
• Strong organizational skills
• Sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Effective prioritization and project management skills
• Ability to excel in a multi-cultural, fast paced environment
