SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing Supply Chain support to our global industry and regional business teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position is responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement (optimization and cost savings) to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations. In addition, this position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining effective supplier and customer relationships in order to solve complex problem.

This positon is 2nd shift on site at a customer location (7PM-4AM).

*A person who is Data Driven and likes to work with new technology or software programs. Strong Access and Excel (SQL would be a plus!)

*A self-starter who is tech savvy!

*A person with the drive to learn more everyday as well as teach what they learn to others

*A creative thinker who likes to bounce ideas off others

*A person who can deal with ambiguity and is flexible

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate must also possess strong customer service, analytical skills to include:

*Good communication skills

*Ability to work effectively in a team environment

*Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree Industrial Engineering or Business.

EXPERIENCE

One (1) year or more experience Industry related experience

SKILLS

*Intermediate level skills with MS Word such as including styles, mail merge, tabs, tables, columns and breaks, graphics, fields, headers and footers, working with margins, page orientation, and spelling/grammar

*Intermediate level skills with MS Excel such as freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/un-hiding data, setting print titles & page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars & menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting option

KNOWLEDGE

Acquire product knowledge. Knowledge and adherence to process methodologies; intermediate level.

Basic knowledge of Integrated Logistics: Transportation Distribution, Customer Service, Information Technology; beginner level.

Knowledge of computer tools: Spreadsheets, Databases, Graphics, Word Processing, Mapping, Routing and Scheduling, Facility Layouts; intermediate level.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver issues; intermediate level.
