Job Responsibilities:
- Develop Lighting Control designs, overlays, bill of materials and quotations
- Facilitate “Start-up” Services for commissioning with Contractors and End Users
- Facilitate Contractor and Customer lighting control education and trainings
- Support North Coast Account Managers, Project Managers and Sales Associates
- Provide Trouble Shooting Services for all North Coast customers
- Contribute to inventory and gross margin improvement opportunities
- Participate in the negotiation, renewal, and maintenance of NCLCD pricing contracts
- Promote North Coast Lighting Control Division initiatives to North Coast customers
- Participate in weekly product training and product webinars
- Market North Coast LCD to Engineers, Architects, Lighting Designers, Contractors and End Users
- Review plans, specifications and apply local codes to NCLCD project designs
- Collaborate with local agents and factories
- Provide a detailed, weekly, Activity Log for all NC and NCLCD activities
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Expectations:
- Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
- Customer service focused
- Ability to work directly with customers and suppliers
- Able to work remotely and independently, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize
- Able to use (or learn) NCLCD quote entry in Job Management
- Computer literate in Adobe, Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Able to use (or learn) Lutron Designer, Acuity Visual Control, WattStopper LMDS and Blue Beam design programs
- Able to use (or learn) Submittal 123 deliverable program
- Able to utilize internet to get product information from manufacturer websites for submittal information
- Ability to work with (or learn) manufacturer provided software for pricing and product information
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to learn manufacturer pricing programs
- Great written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Field environment with frequent driving and overnight stays required
- Office environment with frequent computer and phone use
- Warehouse environment with occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
- Travel to customer, manufacturers and vendor locations
- Be available and accessible during all business hours
- Requires punctual regular and reliable attendance
