Is licensing your specialty?
DraftKings' Compliance Department is seeking a talented individual for the position of Licensing Specialist for the Sportsbook and Casino vendors and their intellectual property. You will support the company's multi-jurisdiction vendor licensing and registration activities out of Boston, MA, and contribute to an innovative compliance and risk management culture. Essentially, we are looking for someone who knows how to play their cards right.

What you will do as a Licensing Specialist:

  • Assist in the process for obtaining, renewing, and tracking state licensing for Sportsbook/Casino vendors.
  • Research licensing requirements based on business needs and objectives.
  • Review vendor registration applications and supporting documents for completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with regulators and the Legal and Compliance Departments concerning vendor licensing matters.
  • Review invoices to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain established file and spreadsheet tracking systems.
  • Assist with updating existing vendor licensing processes and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and strict control of access to records/files.
  • Prepare vendor licensing correspondence, memoranda, and other required documentation.
  • Assist in resolving licensing issues as needed and other areas of licensing like applications, renewals, vendor and marketing affiliate registrations.

What skills you will use:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management or the Daily Fantasy Sports or Casino industry
  • Strong organizational skills with superb attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills both internally and when corresponding with regulatory agencies
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Word and Excel
  • Comfortable with balancing multiple, competing priorities and changes in scope/direction
