JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Level 3 Global Desktop Engineer is responsible for architecting, planning, and implementing the enterprise end-user experience for Windows, MacOS, and other client platforms. This person will contribute as a key member to projects dealing with the end-user experience and will build strong relationships within the business to ensure the success of these projects.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provides monitoring, troubleshooting, recovery, and problem escalation in a multi-platform desktop environment.
• Designs, configures and implements complex desktop hardware / software solutions.
• Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions.
• Troubleshoots to resolution Windows 10, Mac OSX, Microsoft Office 365, and other internal application software issues
• Works with vendor support on evaluation and implementation of new technology.
• Develops and implements complex technologies such as imaging services, endpoint protection, backup solutions and process automation.
• Provides training and documentation for hardware / software solutions supported.
• Develops expert knowledge of industry best practices and uses that knowledge to provide technical support to project team members.
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with PC / mobility architecture and operating system platforms (i.e. Windows 10, MacOS, iOS, and Android).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting / repairing Windows 10 AND / OR minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting / repairing MacOS products.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Intune AND / OR Jamf Pro device enrollment, monitoring, and management of devices.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Active Directory (Group Policy Management / Maintenance), MS Exchange, SCCM, Intune and JAMF Pro administration.
  

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience engineering / deploying mobile solutions including Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
• Image management and software deployments.
• PowerShell and scripting experience.
• IOS / Android support.
• Microsoft 365 administrative / application support.
• Experience running / communicating metrics / reporting.
• Support experience utilizing various operational tools including, but not limited to ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, McAfee, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience / interest in scripting / development (Python, PowerApps etc.).
• Experience / interest in data analytics (PowerBI).
• Experience / interest in Automation (RPA, PowerAutomate, etc.).
