Description
The Fowler College of Business, Department of Finance, is seeking qualified applicants to teach the following senior level capstone course in finance:

Course Name and Title: Fin 423- Financial Analysis and Management
Course Description: Integration of various aspects of finance, application of financial theory. Financial decision making in the firm. Case study.
Summer session and dates: Summer Session 1; May 24- July, MTWTh 8:00AM -10:30 AM.

Textbooks and Materials:

Selected Cases
Analysis for Financial Management
, R. C. Higgins (Irwin),
Valuation, McKinsey and Company (Wiley)
A spreadsheet.
Any intermediate-level finance textbook such as Brealey and Myers, Principles of Corporate finance.
Any intermediate level accounting textbook such as Kieso and Weygandt.


Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in Finance with significant subject matter experience and CFA certification. Hiring preferences will be given to those holding a doctorate with CFA certification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience teaching advanced senior level corporate finance courses using the case method.
