We are looking for a Lean Engineer to join our growing team.

JOB SUMMARY:

Establish the overall objectives and initiatives of the MA2 Lean Department. Provides engineering expertise and /or support to other departments where needed. Ensures that all engineering projects and processes are in conformance with the organization policies. Develop ideas for product/process enhancements and oversee the creation and improvement of new products and processes. Lead, direct and monitor the work of the lean staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate lean activities needed to assure continuous improvement according MPS.
  • Lead, direct, and monitor the work of the MA2 Lean department.
  • Maintain and improve processes and procedures and prioritizes product/process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide engineering expertise and/or support to other departments where needed.
  • Promotes and lives the Munters Core Values.
  • Implement MPS management system in MA2
  • Cost Deployment coordination (Waste and Losses Identification & Projects prioritization)
  • Focus Improvement (Quick, Standard, Major & Advanced Kaizen Coordination)
  • Define & Educate and Training of Methods & Tools for attacking waste and losses
  • Travel 10%
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Lean tools, Six Sigma, Logistics, Waste and Losses Identification
  • Ergonomic concepts, standardization and waste (Muri, Mura, Muda)
  • Autonomous activities
  • Self-starter.
  • Motivated, confident and persistent in meeting project goals.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility across the organization to drive change
  • Solution driven, with developed analytical and project management skills
  • Strong customer focus and persistent business approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels and in a multicultural environment.
  • Track record of effective leadership skills, the ability to build consensus amongst co-workers and the ability to facilitate problem resolution.
  • Strong team collaborative skills and ability to work within teams.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5 years Lean Engineering or 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong background in lean concepts in international companies.
  • Previous experience leading engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
