HotFoot Recruiters has partnered with an Aerospace Supplier and Manufacturer in need of a Direct Hire Lean Engineer in the Airway Heights, WA area.

Position: Lean Engineer

Schedule: Monday thru Thursday, 5 AM - 3:30 PM

Location: Airway Heights, WA

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan improvement efforts with a Value Stream focus within the organization for complete product lines under the direction of the Lean Manager and/or Upper-Level Management.
• Lead Kaizen Events to support company improvement efforts and teach Lean Training classes.
• Promote continuous flow in both manufacturing and administrative processes.
• Help develop value stream process improvement for entire production including tools and material handling.
• Design and lead the implementation of continuous flow processes/improvements per product line to support optimal company's operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years in a high mix - low volume manufacturing environment (2+ years with a Master's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering).
• Hands on machinery/process improvement experience.
• Proven facilitation skills of groups in size of 4 to 20.
• Proven experience of applying Lean in Job Shop (such as QRM) or in mid-volume repetitive operations (such as Value Stream).
