The Role

The  Lead Technical Project Manager will be the subject matter expert on the architecture and codebases owned by the Mass Market Finance development team.  This role will coordinate with stakeholders and the Product Owner to understand business requirements and define appropriate technical solutions.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to understand the business domain and application functionality
  • Create well defined technical requirements based on business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Write code to implement functionality, experiment, and to evaluate alternative implementation approaches
  • Review Pull Requests for completeness, functionality, and quality
  • Work with development team members to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Identify ways to continuously improve the code, architecture, user experience, and performance
  • Release coordination, validation and deployment
  • Track and report on project and team progress

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 2+ years professional experience as a Technical Lead or Technical Project Manager
  • Proficient developer using one or more of: Java, Go, JavaScript
  • Experience with current cloud infrastructure (ideally Google Cloud Platform)
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment
  • Self-motivated with solid time-management skills
  • Detail oriented and passionate about performance, testing, automation, and quality
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field preferred
