What you'll do as a Lead Software Engineer, Backend:

• Take ownership for the design, development, maintenance, testing strategy and operations of a backend team.
  

• Collaborate with business leads across the company to define milestones and deliveries for new functionality to be added to existing applications.
  
  
• Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment's notice
  
  
• Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and pull requests, both within the team and across the engineering organization
  
  
• You will also write clean, well-organized, testable, and reusable code
  
  

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of overall development experience
  

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C#
  

• Experience with .NET framework and .NET core is preferred.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss technical concepts
  
  
• Ability to participate in code reviews, design reviews, and collaborative debugging
  

• You have experience as the 'expert' on the development team where you were responsible for everything from planning to delivering key features and management of those features.
  
  
• Experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of unit and integration tests
