RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in El Segundo, CA that is seeking a Lead Project Manager - EDSP.Responsibilities:
  • Conducts end-to-end program management of one or more programs containing multiple large projects, or an entire portfolio with company-wide scope, cross functional and/or strategic in nature
  • May also manage one or more portfolios which includes identifying, prioritizing, authorizing, managing, and controlling projects, programs, and other related work to achieve strategic business/corporate objectives
  • Directs cross-functional teams to complete projects and program deliverables within allotted timeline and budget
  • Defines project/program scope and objectives, directs activities of project teams, and identifies resources
  • Projects/programs are very complex in nature, with project activities that are distinct for each new project, are company-wide, and require a high level of analysis to create project plans for new concept programs
  • Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project/program(s) across the entire organization
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and executive & detailed status reports
  • Conducts program meetings and is responsible for program tracking and analysis
  • Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
  • Communicates to client/vendors/leadership


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration degree or equivalent experience.
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Scaled Agile Certified SAFe preferred
  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Tech Project Manager with responsibilities for project financial management
  • Desired: Familiar with PRISM project tracking and program management tool
  • Results and quality driven professional with an ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Ability to work as a team player in matrixed organizations with both business and IT teams, in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Superior written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of various solution development methodologies
  • Experience in understanding, communicating, and facilitating architectural diagrams and solution discussions
  • Willingness to work extended hours and assume other projects/assignments as directed by management
  • Work scope assessments to deliver impacted applications/LOEs/costs estimates
  • Quickly gain an understanding of Core Application Systems & processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Process Management experience with ability to identify process efficiencies in delivering quality within budget and timelines
  • Project Administration experience leveraging project management tools, PRISM/BOLT
