We are looking for a Lead IT Project Manager, Government Solutions to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will lead IT Security projects for government solutions providing leadership in multiple ongoing key IT and Security-related projects for government clients of LexisNexis Reed Tech and its partners. The individual in this position is a key representative in managing interactions with LexisNexis Reed Tech federal clients.

Accountabilities

As a Lead IT Security Project Manager, Government Solutions, you will:

  • Work with Senior IT leadership to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously that may cut across functional and organizational lines.
  • Provide consultancy, leadership and technical expertise in planning and developing major information systems / software projects.
  • Manage IT-related projects from initiation to completion, including technical project management of new and ongoing projects.
  • Manage the execution of projects to deliver IT products, services, and systems in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Adjust project budget and team resources to ensure the team has the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities required to execute the assigned projects.
  • Develop and execute a communication plan related to milestones via status reports and presentations suitable for all levels of management and staff.
  • Serve as a key liaison with federal clients and relevant project stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline required, Masters preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience or demonstrate equivalent competency that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. It must include serving as a lead with responsibility for managing projects in an Enterprise environment that includes cloud based and on-premises network infrastructure and Server implementations for a large, diverse, and geographically dispersed Information Technology organization.
Preferred working experience with some or all the following IT and Security elements:
  • Cloud Migration
  • Azure and AWS Cloud Operating Environments
  • Windows and Linux based Server Project management FISMA based Federal ATO systems / FedRamp
  • DISA STIG / CIS controls

Desirable Qualifications Include:
  • Knowledgeable in implementation of Zero Trust Architecture
  • Knowledgeable in zScaler implementation, Azure Sentinel, Azure Government, Virtual Desktop Migration
  • Familiar with federal contracting rules and management of federal contracts
  • Industry related certifications (PMP, CISSP, etc.)
  • Understanding of Commercial IT Compliance (SOX, ISO 27K, SOC2, GDPR)
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.

4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
