Our Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a Lead Engineer (Data & JavaScript) to join their team for a fulltime, direct hire opportunity.

Through demonstrating expertise in software design, data pipelining, cloud engineering, and team leadership, the Lead Engineer will help architect and implement innovative data and front-end solutions across the organization.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in React is required
• Backend experience in Node.js or Python
• Expertise in building out data pipelines in GCP, AWS or Azure
• Expertise with API design and development
• Prior experience in a Lead or mentorship role is required (conducting code reviews, assigning tasks, meeting with product owners/PMs, etc.)
• Prior Digital Advertising, Customer Data, Retail, eCommerce, or similar industry experience is a plus

This is a hybrid position, and applicants must be open to travel to Bolingbrook, IL as needed for important meetings. Sponsorship can be provided.
