BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Lead Application Programmer for an opportunity in Indianapolis, IN!

Summary:

• Position Title: Lead Application Programmer

• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46280 [Onsite]

Job Requirements:

• M.S. degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems, or a related field of study

• 2 years of job-related experience (any title)

• Experience includes working with SDLC, Agile, Spring, JSP, CSS, XSL, JIRA, Restful.

• Travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations within U.S. possible.




Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical aspects of project development including design, coding, integration, and testing.

• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of junior and mid-level programmers.

• Strategize planning of software projects by assessing the feasibility, time requirements, compatibility with current systems, and potential impacts of new projects and initiatives

• Oversee the execution of software projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and within budget.

• Research emerging technologies.

• Mentor and train junior programmers.
