About the Position:

Pond's PLACE Team (Planning, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering) is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a passionate entry level landscape designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a minimum of one year experience working on technical designs of public and private sector projects and who wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. This person would be based in our Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC office and be an integral part our PLACE team. They will be mentored by experienced landscape architects, planners, and engineers with a wide range of backgrounds. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through a variety of design stages ranging from concept plans to construction documentation.

Our team is located through multiple offices in the Southeast, and our projects range in scale from small pocket parks to planning for downtowns to mixed-use and multi-family developments. Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Landscape Architecture.
  • One to four years of experience working in a collaborative studio environment
  • Experience working on multiple aspects of projects with emphasis on preparing technical plan drawings and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite required. Proficiency in Civil3D, ArcGIS, Rhino, and/or Lumion preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Landscape Architect I with a salary range of $49,400.00 - $71,300.00 .
