Must have a background in developing data visualizations and experience with exploiting data within a System Application Product (SAP) environment. Will interact with the Data Analyst to create visualizations that aggregate ingested raw data, identify information trends, apply data analytics, and synthesize the analyzed information into executable knowledge for enhanced decision making. The target is developing customizable Business Intelligence (BI) visualizations by Service Owner, Process Owner, and Functional Owner (SOPOFO) Communities of Interest (COIs) and presenting those visualizations within a web browser GUI and accessible via an Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) seat.
Responsibilities

• Develop customizable BI visualizations by SOPOFO aligned COIs
• Interact with the Data Analyst to understand government data visualization requirements
• Identify information trends, apply data analytics, and synthesize the analyzed information into executable knowledge for stakeholders
• Exploit data from within the Navy Data Platform (NDP) SAP environment to develop data visualizations
• Produce visual depictions from text-based extracted data to reveal enterprise patterns, trends, and/or correlations
• Manage and host data visualizations
• Create a wide variety of graphics to display information, such as infographics, charts, graphs, and data maps
• Conduct analysis to discover actionable business insights
• Participate in program reviews and working groups/events/activities to target data visualization areas of opportunity
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising data visualization process documentation and work instructions

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• SECRET clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or equivalent related experience
• 3+ years' experience as a Data Visualization Developer
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (SAP Business Objects) and databases (SQL)
• Adept at learning new capabilities and technologies
• Strong communication skills
