Our Client is seeking an IT Coordinator in Dallas, TX

Role Description

The IT Coordinator supports the IT executive leadership team and acts as a liaison to key client contacts, senior management, key executives, employees, and coordinates Information Technology (IT) travel. This position coordinates the order management, general procurement, and invoicing processing of IT equipment and mobile devices with corporate departments and remote site staff. The IT Coordinator must work quickly and efficiently to collect quotes, process purchase orders, and facilitate invoice payments in a timely manner. The IT Coordinator must be organized, creative, and enjoy working within an innovative environment that is fast-paced and results-oriented.

  • Responsible for quoting, ordering, receiving, and invoicing of IT technology, ensuring timely remittance and delivery
  • Create purchase orders and process them for approval
  • Process invoices for payment
  • Build relationships with existing procurement vendors and execute effective order and invoice management processes
  • Track IT hardware deliveries and maintain a current count of \"in stock\" inventory
  • Ensure proper hardware and software standards are documented and enforced
  • Coordinate and manage business travel, accommodations, and expense reporting for the executive IT members
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the IT executive members: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing confidential correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas
  • Manage confidential information
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT procurement, relevant logistics, or executive administrative role
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving expertise
  • Highly organized and fast-paced skills with high degree of accuracy
  • Experience with data entry, database management, and reporting and compliance
  • Four to six years of experience in a position with similar duties and responsibilities
  • Comply with all written and stated company ethics and safety policies and procedures
  • Needs to have general understanding of information technology and project management functions
  • Computer proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail and Google docs)
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with immediate supervisor and other team members in order to receive/direct all work instructions and express any questions or concerns as required
