This is a hybrid work opportunity. The Company feels that three shared days in the office and two days with the option of working remotely allows for both collaborative time and quiet space for deep work. Eligible employees for hybrid work are required to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There may be a need for additional office days based on specific business requirement.

Job Description

Under the direction of the IT Service Desk Manager, the IT Client Services Technician is responsible for providing Tier 1 and 2 IT support and troubleshooting functions. The Service Desk Technician will work supporting a variety of hardware and software platforms that are utilized throughout the organization such as PC's, Laptops, Multifunction Printers, Tablets, Smartphones, Windows Operating Systems, Mobile Device Management, etc. Primarily responsible for monitoring and resolving escalated Service Desk incident and request tickets.

  • Other responsibilities include configuring, installing, and maintaining all hardware and PC software.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves end user hardware, software and networking issues to ensure optimal performance. 
  • Works with outside consultants and vendors to resolve IT issues. 
  • Install, Configure, and Troubleshoot client systems (PC's, Laptops, Multifunction Printers, Tablets, Smartphones, Windows Operating Systems, and Software applications)
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues on client systems
  • Remediate client systems to remove malware, spyware, viruses, etc…
  • Diagnose, and resolve basic network connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory.
  • Provides user training as needed.
  • Travel to remote sites as needed to provide on-site Client Support
  • This position is required to respond to emergency calls on a 24X7 basis, and must be able to work off shift hours and weekends to maintain system functionality when necessary.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.

Minimum Qualification

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; may be supplemented with work experience 
  • 2 + years of experience in an IT Service Desk support role.
  • MCP certification required
  • A+ or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with IT Technical Support concepts and operations
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office products.
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting and repairing IT related hardware
  • Basic knowledge of networking technologies and concepts (TCPIP, DNS,RDP)
  • Experience with desktop imaging technologies (SCCM)
  • Experience supporting MDM solution (InTune &Maas360) and smartphones
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to research and interpret problems.
  • Valid Driver's license.
