RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Princeton, NJ that is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst. In this role, the IT Business Systems Analyst functions as an integral member within the development team and is responsible for driving definition, documentation, and tracking of functional requirements and other SDLC artifacts. Responsibilities:

• The IT Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with other IT teams to define application interfaces and data payload (fields/values etc.)
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders for requirements. Help refine the requirements by bring in storyboarding and design methods
• Partner with Product Owners and functional leads to facilitate the definition of user stories and acceptance criteria
• Drive functional requirements analysis and prioritization. Manage product backlogs actively with the Product Owner
• Organize epics, features and user stories in Jira to enable status tracking and requirements traceability
• Monitor development activities, manage SCRUM calls, maintain and clarify business requirements, and support test case development
• The IT Business Systems Analyst will assist in general coordination, planning and implementation of new product features
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing/Operational Testing (UAT/OT) including working with Product Owner to develop UAT plans and coordinate execution across FCE teams
• Day-to-day operational activities - Prod support and System support
• Support ST team for requirements and Triage the issues and re-assign them to ST after dev validation
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders for functional requirements; Help refine the requirements by bring in storyboarding and design methods
• Collaborate with the business folks and BA to get clarifications on business requirements
• Coordinate dependencies across FCEs and tracks/reports progress
• The IT Business Systems Analyst will support business with user stories for User Acceptance Testing, and scope documents

REQUIREMENTS:

• Scrum master skills/experience highly desirable
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Translate business requirements to functional and technical specifications
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Good interpersonal skills to function in a team environment
• Familiar with general programming and system analysis concepts
• Must be a team player. Maintain team spirit and a positive attitude
• Experience using JIRA and Agile portfolio management tools such as Trello is required
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Customer focus
• Excellent relationship and expectation management skills
• Familiarity with both Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methods approaches and techniques
• Experience with software testing standards, practices, methods and tools
• Experience with both web based and back-end applications
• Experience documenting specifications for front end and back end applications preferably using Java, NodeJS, Python, Angular, JSON, etc.
• Experience working with web application and web services architecture
• Strong knowledge in database concepts
• Experience and knowledge of AWS technologies and Event based architecture
• Experience with troubleshooting application issues, understating of exceptions, log analysis, cloud watch/Splunk, etc.
• Experience in documenting using Atlassian Confluence is a plus
