Summary:
Assuring that IT deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and stability; designs, plans and creates automated functional and performance tests; verifies and validates software to the defined requirements and works closely with the entire development team to ensure quality is embedded in all phases of the software development lifecycle; assesses new development, new projects or existing processes to make recommendations for opportunities for automated testing where benefits can be realized in cost savings, increased speed to delivery or higher quality output.

Starting salary for this position is $83,550 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience working in Quality Assurance or another role supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); or
2. Associate's degree in a computer-related field and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience working in Quality Assurance or another role supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma. and the equivalent of seven (7) years of full-time experience working in test automation.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have experience writing code using Java, C#, python, etc., experience working in a Healthcare field, previous experience working in/with Quality Assurance and Testing and experience using UFT or similar products. In addition they will have experience using source code repository such as gitlib, experience presenting plans and strategies, experience working within a SD such as waterfall or agile and experience creating dashboards and reporting.
