How You'll Add Value

Our innovative and fast-growing Life Science company is seeking to fill the role of IS\IT Portfolio & Integration Lead, a critical position based in the Information Systems and Information Technology department that will enable the successful outcomes of critical business projects enabled by IS\IT and provide the required focus on the integration of acquisitions where IS\IT is a key cross-functional enabler for existing businesses and functions.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the overall IS\IT integration lead, coordinating with current and future acquisitions, and coordinating with other company business areas and functional areas to develop, document, track, report on, and execute against, the cross-functional plan to integrate each acquisition.
  • Serve as the overall IS\IT project portfolio lead, coordinating across IS\IT to develop, document, track, report on, and enable the proper visibility to all projects and activities that are executing or planned across the department.
  • Serve as an IS\IT project manager, as required, on select projects and activities that require formal project management support to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Liaison with the core company business and functional areas and their key leads (business and integration) to ensure a comprehensive cross-functional holistic plans.
  • Liaison with the IS\IT sub-areas (Technical Operations, Security & Compliance, Enterprise Applications, Strategic Analytics, and Application Development) to ensure comprehensive cross-IS\IT holistic plans.
  • Prepare and maintain the proper documentation, trackers, and reports required to provide timely and continuously up-to-date status to all partners and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous step-by-step progress across the IS\IT sub-areas, surfacing and escalating any concerns and roadblocks, driving their resolution, to ensure timely and efficient outcomes.
  • Maintain, develop, and follow ongoing best practices for integration, portfolio management, and project management ensuring proper documentation is maintained and available for any compliance and\or audit requirements.
  • Function as a change agent, to ensure all stakeholders are properly consulted and listened to, with appropriate feedback incorporated to contribute a successful outcome from a change management perspective.
  • Function as a change agent, to ensure proper process and adherence is implemented, especially as it relates to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements a project may have to adhere to, or an acquisition may not necessarily be familiar with.

What you will Bring...
  • Bachelor's Degree in a discipline that supports the responsibilities and qualifications required.
  • Master's Degree in a discipline that supports the responsibilities and qualifications a plus.
  • Prior experience in integration of systems during merger or acquisition highly preferred.
  • Life Sciences, Biotech, Pharma industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance from line manager, a self-motivator.
  • Ability to work remotely, with potential travel estimated to be no more than 5% to 8%.
  • Ability to build relationships, partner, and influence individuals for successful outcomes.
  • Strong documentation development, use, and maintenance skill.
  • Prior IS\IT experience, 5+ years, across multiple sub-areas, such as technical operations, security and compliance, enterprise applications, strategic analytics, and application development.
  • Prior project management experience, 5+ years, ability to organize, document, track, report on, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders to drive progress for successful outcomes.
  • Formal project management (PMP \ PMI, CSM, Six Sigma Green\Black) certifications a plus.
  • ITIL experience (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) a plus.

Working Conditions/ Schedule
  • Chelmsford, MA based employee with possible flexible work options (may be located in South Plainfield NJ, Indianapolis IN also)
  • Occasional travel possible (not expected more than 20%)
