RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES

• Help build and implement new inventory management procedures, including van outfitting and inventory tracking, storage unit kit assignments, and purchasing procedures
• Review parts request for Work Orders and renovation jobs, to best determine method of fulfillment; utilizing inventory stock or creating and submitting purchase orders for items not in stock or not regularly stocked
• Pull items from stock and stage in proper staging area dependent on request/Job schedule, Review job parts request for items needing to be ordered; work with Home Service Associates, Team Leads and research where to best purchase items from for price and quickest availability
• Stock and Expense part ordering; check stock levels of parts needing to be ordered, verify validity of Min/Max stocking levels, create and submit purchase orders, track status of fulfillment from vendors. Will Call invoicing and ordering as needed or requested by accounting
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy of on hand stock and proper stocking levels; review parts to ensure they can be used before their warranty period has passed
• Process returns for items from stock that have or are getting ready to expire, items ordered for jobs that were not used, not needed, miss-ordered, damaged or not in proper working condition; work with vendors and techs to ensure proper returns are processed and RMA's obtained
• Maintain procedures and upkeep of inventory and storage units; sweep, general cleaning and assist with stock location and put away of stock and material ordered for jobs/service tickets.
• Support other areas/positions as needed; receiving, driving, service, etc...

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• 2 -3 years' experience warehousing and logistics (or equivalent with inventory management)
  
• 2-3 years' experience in construction, home maintenance and repair, or a related field (Preferred)

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/ MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical requirements; standing, sitting, bending and lifting, need to be able to lift and carry 25 pounds (up to 50 pounds), Long periods looking at a computer screen.
