The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts DistributionofCat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurementand thedesign andmanufactureof Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).

• This is a 1st shift position located in Corinth, MS and does not offer relocation
  

What You Will Do

• Record retention and accuracy of all inventoried parts for auditing and compliance purposes.
  
• Investigate and coordinate efforts for inventory adjustments, and make actual adjustment once investigation is completed.
  
• Manage RSSM (scrap process) in ETQ from 1st initiation thru final approval, including issuing action item and tracking on time completion.
  
• Identify opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.
  
• Approve LMS/Inventory system access.
  
• Maintain MFG Pro to Inventory grief (T1 grief) along with physical location setup and deletion.
  

What You Have

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  
• Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  
• Problem Solving : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  
• Supplier Management - MFG : Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
  

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, logistics
  
• LMS, Inventory, MFG Pro, ETQ systems experience
