Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, International Tax the International Tax Analyst will be responsible for supporting international tax functions of the global tax department including accounting for income taxes of foreign locations, U.S. international tax compliance, tax planning and maintaining compliance with all U.S. and non-U.S. tax laws. This position will also gain exposure to other U.S. domestic and SEC reporting matters as required.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of international portions of the U.S. consolidated federal 1120 including (5471,8858, 1118, 8990,8991, 8992, 8993, etc) and all supporting calculations including but not limited to E&P and taxes paid, Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, Section 163(j), BEAT and foreign tax credits, disclosures and election preparation and IRS audit support
  • Assist in the analysis of intercompany transactions, cash repatriation, foreign tax payments and foreign restructuring along with quarterly provision analysis and modeling.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of the annual consolidated international tax provision under the principles of ASC 740 including financial statement disclosures, tax analyses and audit documentation
  • Provide support for modeling and qualitative analysis
  • Perform tax research on a variety of issues, including international tax provisions of the U.S Internal Revenue Code
  • Assist members of the global tax team with tax planning projects such as cross-functional legal entity simplification projects, internal legal structure reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and efficient cash management
  • Assist with the preparation and review of worldwide FIN 48 schedules and related disclosures
  • Ensure SOX compliance through proper documentation and timely performance of controls
  • Monitor legislative developments for changes that will affect the Company
  • Support tax transformation initiatives to automate tax processes, enhance data analytics, implement tax technology tools and re-imagine how the tax function operates
  • Support other team members as required to meet the goals and objectives of the global tax department
  • Work and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Education and Experience Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution is required

Experience:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and well organized
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and can learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel, across functions, organizations and with external contacts


Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Hybrid schedule in an office environment. Minimal travel required, usually locally, but could also include international, to assist with execution of board meetings and events. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
