Job Title: Intern- Preclinical and Clinical Services

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Shift: M-F 9am-5:30pm

Pre-Clinical & Clinical Services is responsible for managing and processing all projects that are in a Regulated Environment, to include CAP/CLIA, GLP, & GCP.

Intern Project Responsibilities:

As an intern in the Pre-Clinical and Clinical Services Team (P&CS), you will learn the basics of molecular biology laboratory techniques and assist with such activities as creating working aliquots for clinical laboratory members to use throughout the work week, among other activities. Additionally, you will learn about general lab day-to-day activities like freezer maintenance, sample, and reagent storage/organization, and inventories. As part of your experience with the team, you will be assigned a process improvement task pertaining to one or more operations within P&CS, which will support the team through streamlining certain workflows/processes, thereby improving project turnaround times (TAT's), which positively impacts our customer's experience.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Biology or other related Life Science.

Interest in working in a research or clinical lab in the future.

Ability to learn and retain new concepts.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
