At Veterans United, we offer paid internships that provide students with an opportunity to develop personally and professionally, while working with one of the nation's best employers. We are currently reviewing applications for Summer and Fall 2023 internships.

As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with other interns and full-time employees. Your work environment will be challenging and supportive as you learn to thrive in a professional atmosphere. The internship has high expectations but is heavily feedback driven with the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them. Our Interns are a part of the VU Compass Internship Program, whose goal is to guide students in navigating their career goals and growth.

The Intern - Marketing position is designed for current students and works side by side with our Veterans United marketing team. We are looking for students with previous marketing experience that are eager to add more to their tool belt. Depending on the area you have experience in, you could be selected for one of the following areas:

• Marketing Strategy
  
• Lead Generation
  
• Business Development
  
• Digital Marketing
  
• Creative
  
• Strategic Partnerships
  

We provide internships in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. In the Fall and Spring, typically you will work 15-20 hours a week, while in the Summer, typically you will work 30-40 hours a week. Your schedule is flexible and created between you and your manager, as we recognize that you are a student and school does come first. The internship is held semester by semester with the possibility of an extension based on the company's needs and your performance in the role.

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include, and are not limited to:

• Providing general administrative assistance and support
  
• Learning and mastering assigned operations of your department
  
• Assisting team members with assorted tasks
