3D Render Intern

Duties

• CAD buildup (find configurations, locate 3D in NX, collect into .stp file, deliver to renderer)
• Simple 3D still renders of smallish assemblies or of limited scope
• Modify existing renders with small technical tweaks or to create new views or angles
• Post-production work (apply established shadow styles, lighting styles, color correction etc. in PhotoShop or AfterEffects)

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Microsoft Office / Windows
• Adept at Adobe Creative Suite, including AfterEffects, PhotoShop, and Illustrator)
• Visual, Marketing, or Graphical Design coursework or experience
• Film or animation editing coursework or experience
• General experience with plugins or extensions, especially with creative design tools
  • For example, smoke tools or dynamic dust cloud plugins etc.
• Working knowledge of a 3D animation tool
  • Cinema 4D is preferred tool and is the one in use at HYG, but generalized experience with Maya, Blender, or 3D Max could fulfill this requirement)
• Octane rendering engine experience a plus
• Some experience viewing and accessing CAD a plus
