This position will be responsible to:

• Creates and issues work orders for land-bridge and cross-town moves.
• Ensures all export containers are moved from rail ramps to the ports in a timely manner to ensure containers make intended vessels and to minimize storage.
• Ensures correct cost on Transport Orders for land-bridge moves prior to being invoiced by the trucker.
• Issue Export Rail billing via LARA and railroad website.
• Issue, Follow-up and/ or reconcile receipt of dispatch orders.
• Handle HAZMAT documents.
• Utilize Internet and other software to assist in tracking requirements
• Handle significant volume of telephone and written communication.
• Maintain timely and accurate records.
• Timely communicate to management any problems or potential problems.
• Miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned.

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements:

• High Diploma required
• 1-3 years of general work experience.
• Proficient computer skills to include all basic Microsoft applications (excel, outlook, word)
• Good attention to detail and organization abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills. (verbal and written)
• Detail-oriented person with strong organization skills
• Must be availble to work 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday thru Friday

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Knowledge of shipping industry preferred.
