In the role of Interim Director of Laboratory Services, this leader will be responsible for the administration of the technical and scientific operation for microbiological, serological, immunohematological (blood banking), cytological, histological, chemical, hematological, biophysical, toxicological, and other methods of examination of tissues, secretions or excretions of the human body.

As the Interim Director of Laboratory Services, this motivated individual will provide leadership to a team of licensed Medical Technologists, phlebotomists, and other laboratory staff. Communication with other department directors, physicians, and visitors will be important for maintaining high patient-satisfaction and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. Prior leadership experience in the acute-care setting will contribute to the Interim Director of Laboratory Services success as well as the ability to train, schedule, budget, and maintain department performance improvement standards.
