Description:

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D. degree.

Responsibilities may include providing clinical care for patients on the inpatient and outpatient services on the heart failure service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to complete research studies in Mechanical Circulatory Support.

The successful applicant will have fellowship training in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop an individual training experience while providing clinical care for such patients as well as pursuing research opportunities in the field.
